Skin Rejuvenation Clinic

With the passage of time our features inevitably lose their youthful appearance.

Skin loses collagen and fat, and wrinkles and sagging occur. Our neck skin becomes looser, hands become less plump and the décolletage becomes dry and crinkled.Surgery can be used to remedy this situation, however there are several other non-surgical options which you may consider:

• Wrinkle smoothing injections (Botox ® )
• Dermal fillers
• Mesotherapy
• Dermaroller treatments
All these techniques are suitable for both men and women

Wrinkle Smoothing Injections

beforeandafter-wrinke-smoothingBotox ® is the most effective way to reduce lines and wrinkles on the face, the neck and décolletage. Botox ® is also used for reducing excessive armpit sweating (hyperhidrosis).

Migraine headaches – not in an acute attack, but helping to reduce the frequency and severity, Botox ® allows you to live a more normal life.

Grinders/Bruxers – people who clench their jaws a lot or grind their teeth develop enlarged cheek (masseter) muscles. Botox ® is used to weaken this effect leading to a more oval facial appearance in ladies.

Dermal Fillers

dermalfillers-compressedThese are jelly like products injected under the skin to "fill out" lines and wrinkles on the face, neck, décolletage and hands. They are also used to "plump out" lips and bring back their youthful appearance.

Hyaluronic Acid ("HA") is the main type of filler used, and this is a natural ingredient of all human cells. However, as we get older, this decreases, the skin becomes thinner, dryer and wrinkled. HA is injected under the line or wrinkle and lifts it up and smooths it out. Effects usually last from 4 – 6 months, depending on the viscosity of the HA, with the thicker products lasting anything up to a year or more.

Treatment time takes up to 30 minutes, and numbing cream, or local anaesthetic can be given, according to procedure.

MesotherapyThis is a non-surgical cosmetic medicine treatment employing multiple injections of serum into the skin.

Used for skin rejuvenation and cellulite reduction – restores skin's youthful look and elasticity, but also targets the underlying factors which cause ageing. Initial treatment is of 2 – 4 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart – then continue with a few sessions a year. The effects are cumulative.

This serum moisturises, nourishes and improves hair and scalp conditions, promotes blood circulation in the scalp and revitalises hair follicles. One session is done every 1 – 2 weeks for 10 sessions, then a monthly session for 6 months
Maintenance: one session every 3 months

Dermaroller Treatments

Dermaroller-compressed30 minutes beforehand), a roller with tiny needles is rolled over the skin of the face, neck, décolletage or the backs of the hands.  After 30 minutes the treatment is complete. The body starts to naturally regenerate and repair the skin. The skin tightens, new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and the blood supply is enhanced.

The effects may only become visible up to 6 weeks after the procedure, but the process continues for months, providing a natural and long lasting enhancement.

The results are similar to laser treatment, chemical peels and dermabrasion, but much less invasive. With dermaroller, the skin can recover faster and the results are visible sooner.

This treatment is useful for skin rejuvenation, improving wrinkles and skin pigmentation, reducing open pores, acne scarring, surgical scars, stretch marks and improving cellulite.
